Cancellation & Refund Policy
We understand that unexpected circumstances can arise. Because our residencies require upfront planning, we have the following cancellation policy.
By booking a spot on our residency, you agree to these terms:
1. Deposit Policy
To secure your spot, a [30%] deposit is required at the time of registration. This deposit is strictly non-refundable and covers administrative costs and venue guarantees.
2. Guest Cancellations & Refund Schedule
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email. Refunds or credits will be issued based on the timeline below:

60 days or more before the residency start date: You will receive a full refund of any additional balance paid, minus your initial non-refundable deposit.

31 to 59 days before the residency start date: You will forfeit your deposit, and 50% of the remaining balance paid will be refunded.

30 days or fewer before the residency start date: No refunds, credits, or transfers to future dates will be issued under any circumstances. This includes last-minute cancellations due to personal emergencies, illness, travel delays, or missed flights.
3. Transferring Your Spot
If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your spot to a friend, family member, or colleague. You must notify us in writing with their full contact information at least 7 days prior to the residency start date. No administrative fee will be charged for this transfer.
4. There can be options for transferring the residency to another date in the future.
5. Travel Insurance Requirement
To protect your investment, we highly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance (including "Cancel for Any Reason" coverage) at the time of booking. This insurance should cover trip cancellations, medical emergencies, and travel delays.
